Salem's Historic Men’s Basketball Season Comes To An End

HERKIMER, N.Y. – The final game of an historic year went down to the wire and the Salem CC prevailed to bring a joyous end to the winningest season in the history of the men’s basketball program. The tenth-seeded Mighty Oaks knocked off the seventh, sixth and, finally, fourth seeds in their first-ever national tournament appearance, beating Sandhills Community College 77-75.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Top-seeded Union County of New Jersey and 6th seeded Salem Community College captured North Atlantic District titles on Saturday at the Arthur L Scott Center in Bethlehem, PA, earning automatic bids to the NJCAA National Tournament in Herkimer, NY March 12th - 15th.

Edison, NJ - The NJCAA Region 19 Basketball committee has released the 2023-24 Men's Basketball All-Region teams for Division II & III. Sean Emfinger of Montgomery County Community College has been selected as the Region 19 DIII Player of the Year and Najee Graham of Raritan Valley Community College has been selected as the Region 19 DII Player of the Year.

RANDOLPH, NJ - The North Atlantic District A and District B championship games have been set for Divisoin III men's basketball, with top seed Union #2 Montgomery, #4 Northampton and #6 Salem advancing to the title games on Saturday. The winners of Saturday's District Championship games advance to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Herkimer, NY.
