GSAC announces DII Basketball Players of the Week

VINELAND - An undefeated week for the Mercer Vikings leads to a sweep of the Player of the Week honors.

Womens

Jhava Wilson - Mercer

Jhava Wilson led the Vikings to a 85-75 victory over Salem.  Wilson scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with 5 steals and a block to move the Vikings to a 16-6 record.

Mens

Joe Lemly - Mercer

Joe Lemly came up big for the Vikings this week, leading Mercer to 2 wins to keep their playoff hopes alive.  In a 97-89 win over CCBC Dundalk, Lemly had 18 points and went 10 for 11 from the free throw line.  In their victory over Rockland CC, Lemly chipped in with 8 points and 3 assists along with 2 steals.
