Northampton Advances to Region 19 Championship

SEWELL, NJ - The Northampton baseball team, ranked 3rd in the country in the latest NJCAA poll, downed two national top-four teams on Friday afternoon to advance to the Region 19 / North Atlantic District Championship. The Spartans topped #4 Brookdale 12-10 in game one and then defeated top-ranked RCSJ-Gloucester, 11-4, in game two to earn a spot in the championship game of the double-elimination tournament.
MCCC Baseball Wins Region 19 Championship

West Windsor, NJ - Mercer baseball won the Region 19 Championship, which they hosted May 10th-12th. The #1 seeded Vikings opened play in the Region 19 Tournament with a 14-6 win vs Sussex. Mercer then beat Lackawanna 4-2 in the Semifinals. Mercer faced Lackawanna again in the Region Championship. After falling behind 0-7, the Vikings rallied to come back and win 10-8.
