Ocean's Claudia Cosme Named DIII GSAC Women's Volleyball Player Of The Week 9/5-9/10/23

Paramus, NJ - Ocean County College freshman Claudia Cosme is off to a fantastic start in her first women's volleyball season for the Vikings.

Cosme, an outside hitter from Toms River, NJ, is currently ranked 4th in the nation in service aces per set (2.50) and 5th in points per set (5.0), as Ocean leads Region 19 with a 4-0 record. Cosme recently served through 24 straight points in OCC's 25-1 1st set win versus Sussex County CC on Saturday (9/9), and will continue to play a large role in Ocean's success.
