Ocean CC W. Volleyball's Madison Partenfelder Earns 500th Assist of Season

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College sophomore team captain Madison Partenfelder recorded her 500th assist of the season midway through the Vikings' 3-1 Region 19 playoff victory versus Brookdale Community College on Saturday (10/21). 

Partenfelder, a Brick Township H.S. graduate, has a total of 871 assists over her 2 seasons at Ocean CC, and is still active, as the #3 Vikings are scheduled to face the winner of #2 Raritan Valley CC versus #7 Montgomery County CC for the Region 19 North Atlantic B District Championship on October 27.

"Maddie Partenfelder had been an integral part of the development of this program," reflected OCC Women's Volleyball Head Coach Alexis Whitney. "She is a two-year starter and a leader on the court. She is extremely inclusive and has developed our team culture by supporting her teammates on and off the court. Can't forget about her hosting pasta parties! Maddie will be greatly missed and we wish her luck in the future."
