Brookdale And RCSJ-Gloucester Women's Soccer Teams Partner To Raise Awareness

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues and RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners team-up to raise awareness for ovarian cancer and breast cancer during their Saturday, October 14, 2023 match-up.

Both teams sported warm-up shirts to support their cause. In addition, Brookdale's Athletics Department and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee coordinated with OCRA, the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, to spread ovarian cancer awareness this past month through social media as well as their presence at the men's and women's double-header soccer games. OCRA provided informational materials, wristbands, balloons, and stickers to handout to attendees. In return, a large donation has been supplied to the organization from the, Brookdale Kicks for Cancer, OCRA fundraising page as well as the refreshments made available during the games.
