Wayne Merkh named CCC Cross-Country Coach

Blackwood, NJ - Wayne Merkh has been named the new Men's and Women's Head Cross Country Coach at Camden County College. Merkh, a voorhees resident, has deep ties to the college.

Coach Merkh holds an A.A. in Health & Physical Education from Camden County College and a B.A. in Physical Education from Glassboro State College. He was a member of Camden County College's undefeated 1970 and '71 seasons and earned First Team All-State as well as All-Region. He went on to earn All-Conference at Glassboro State College in 1972 and 1973. Merkh's coaching experience includes 8 seasons as the head boys cross-country coach at Holy Cross HS and 1 season as the head cross-country coach at Audubon HS in 1988. He was an assistant track coach at Highland Regional HS for 3 years before becoming an assistant coach at Camden County College for the past two seasons. Coach Merkh brings a seasoned resume full of cross-country experience and leadership.
