Jason Mark named GSAC DII Mens Basketball Player of the Week

VINELAND - Sophomore Jason Mark came up big for the Vikings and helped Mercer clinch a spot in the Region 19 Playoffs. In a 69-76 loss at Middlesex, Mark had his 7th double double of the season, grabbing 18 rebounds and scoring 15 points. In the Vikings 81-73 win vs Lackawanna, Mark had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. This week, Mark averaged 13 points a game, 12.5 rebounds per game, 4 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game. Mark's contributions have helped MCCC to a 13-11 record and first Region playoff appearance since the 2018-19 season.
