Philadelphia Earns #1 Seed for Men's Region XIX DIII Tournament

LINCROFT, NJ - The Community College of Philadelphia has earned the number one seed for the upcoming Region XIX Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. CCP, 23-2 overall, finished undefeated in Region XIX (20-0) and will receive a bye into the second round where they will face the winner of 8th seeded Montgomery County (14-10) vs. 9th seeded Lehigh Carbon (14-12).

Rowan College @ Glouester County (18-7) continued their resurgence, earning the #2 seed and a bye to the second round where they will face either 7th seeded Camden (16-11) or 10th seeded Ocean (12-13).

The 4 and 5 seeds will be decided on Wednesday night when Union faces Brookdale.

The tournament begins on Saturday with six First Round games.
