GSAC DIII W. Soccer Player and Keeper of the Week

Toms River, NJ - The GSAC soccer committee has named Josselyn Ventura of RCSJ-Cumberland player of the week, and Charisma Wilke keeper of the week for the week ending October 13, 2024.

Josselyn Ventura: Josselyn has been on an offensive tear in recent weeks. This week, the freshman midfielder scored the game-tying goal in a victory over nationally ranked Ocean. Then on Saturday, 10/12, Ventura scored 3 goals and assisted on another in a win at Lehigh Carbon.

Charisma Wilke: Charisma came through in a big way this week. In a victory over nationally ranked Ocean, Wilke stopped 10 shots, none bigger than the 10th and final save on a breakaway in the final moments to preserve the 2-1 victory. Then on Saturday, 10/12, Wilke earned her 7th clean sheet in a win at Lehigh Carbon.
