GSAC D3 Softball POTW announced

VINELAND - GSAC Softball announces the Division 3 Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week.

Player - Audra Lowe - Brookdale

Calling Audra Lowe's week fantastic would not do it justice.  The Brookdale Sophomore went 13 for 22 on the week as she belted 5 Home Runs and accounted for 29 Brookdale runs (11 Runs scored, 18 RBIs) in sweeps against Camden CC, Monroe-Bronx, and a doubleheader split against Northampton CC.  She would also add 4 walks and 4 stolen bases to her impressive week.

Pitcher - Madison Rackett - Middlesex

Madison Rackett was outstanding on the mound this past weekend in a DH against Ocean CC. In game 1, she had 9 K's and only giving up 4 hits, with no earned runs allowed over 7 innings to earn the win for the Colts. In game 2 of the DH vs Ocean, she pitched 5.0 innings with no earned runs and only allowing one hit to secure the win for Middlesex College. She was 2-0 on the day with an ERA of 0.00 and had a total of 14 strikeouts over two games.
